Why Is Everyone Talking About Visa Direct Oct? | Visa Direct Oct

Visa and MasterCard have introduced Visa Direct, an innovative payment service that enables its members to make purchases at more than one financial institution at the same time. There are a number of advantages for using Visa Direct. First of all, a merchant can use his or her Visa Credit card (Visa debit) to make payments at any financial institution including online merchants, ATM machines, department stores, gift shops, gas stations, car dealerships and many more. Merchants may use Visa Credit to purchase goods or services from vending machines, over the phone, by mail or through the Internet. In addition, once a customer uses a Visa Credit Card to make a purchase, he or she will be given the option of making real-time payments with a processing terminal that accepts Visa Credit Cards.

A further advantage for Visa Direct is that it eliminates the need for a bank guarantee or Certificate of Deposit (CD) account funding. When a customer makes a regular Visa or MasterCard payment, the money is deposited in a bank account usually within a few days. If the customer wants to purchase something or pay a bill online, the money will be available to him or her almost immediately. The customer doesn't even need to write down or sign an authorization form as the money is instantly deducted from his or her account. There are no checks required either.

For merchants who use Visa or MasterCard as their credit card processors, Visa Direct eliminates the need for a bank guarantee or CD. Merchants who use Visa Credit Card to process transactions online do not have to worry about incurring fees such as ATM surcharges. Fees such as these could disrupt or slow down the cash flow. And if a customer uses a Visa Credit Card to make purchases, the amount he or she pays may be deducted from his or her account using a post-dated check. This could also result in bounced checks and other problems. For these reasons, many business owners are now switching to Visa Direct.

What makes Visa Direct different from other merchant account providers is the new express pay and money transfer features it provides. Express pay allows customers to pay their bills in one simple step – by depositing money directly into their accounts. This account is also known as the global ATM deposit. Customers can also choose to pay their bills by electronic transfer. This is the real-time payment instant deposits option provided by the new Visa Direct program.

Visa Direct uses a process called OCP (OCPD) for debit card transactions. OCP stands for an O PCI compliant transaction. A PCI compliant transaction is one that complies with Security Standards required by Visa and MasterCard. OCP requires U.S. issuers to make funds available to its cardholders within a maximum of 30 minutes of approval of the transaction. This is the same as the approval time required for any other credit or debit card transaction. Visa Direct uses a different process than the OCP process for its debit card transactions.

OCP requires U.S. issuers to open a secured remote branch where it can hold all transactions processed by Visa Direct. This secured remote branch is typically located in a different county or city than the cardholder. The advantage to Visa Direct is that the super regional issuers are not required to open a physical branch in the United States, nor do they have to meet additional international security standards. Visa Direct takes every step necessary to protect your financial information, so you don't need to worry about the safety of your transactions with its debit card services.

The biggest advantage of Visa Direct Express Pay is the ability to make use of its U.S. services from any location. This means you do not need to be at your computer to make a payment. You can use your phone, your purse or even your back pocket if you prefer to pay with your fingerprint! This ensures that you always have ready access to fast funds enablement when you need them, which is very important. The U.S. economy remains a potential threat to many countries throughout the world, and you never know when an emergency or another problem might arise that forces you to divert your funds to your country's banking system.

In the past, many business transactions used to be completed through Visa or MasterCard networks. However, the addition of the API feature in Visa Direct Oct introduced new payment flows that were previously not available through these networks. These new payment flows allow customers to use their credit cards and U.S. debit cards to make purchases online from selected merchants located all around the world. Merchants can accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover and American Express credit cards or debit cards. They only need to accept one or more of these new Visa and MasterCard payment channels to stay on top of their competition and avoid being left out of the international real-time market.
